Currently Interings serves 5000 customers on and off during the year. Its customer base includes from small mom and pop retailers to multi-million dollar stores and small and medium chain store. Interings is also selling to customers in Canada, Gibraltar, St. Martin islands, and other Caribbean Islands.
Interings was awarded the vendor of year 2005 award by Leading Jewelers Guild and The VIP vendor of the year award by IJO. Interings is one of the very few companies which are affiliated with all the jewelry buying organization in US.
Interings is managed and run by Prakash Mehta and his two sons Bhavin and Gaurav. Prakash Mehta has been in jewelry and diamond industry since 1976, Bhavin Mehta in the business since 1996. Currently Interings has 14 employees.
All Interings sales are made by Prakash & Bhavin Mehta along with help of couple of sales associates. Interings uses various jewelry shows and telemarketing to generate sales.
Interings was amongst the first Indian company to start manufacturing and selling to retailers .The business was started in 1981 and from a one man operation has grown into company doing business with all the major groups and many retailer in US and out of US. With its offices located in Manhattan, New York Interings is serving jewelers all over the country and overseas for past 25 years.
Started from a small line of diamond earring and pendants, today Interings is selling a full line of fine jewelry. Today Interings sells all types of gold, platinum and diamond jewelry. Beside jewelry Interings also sell loose diamonds and colored stones to its customer.
Also plans to increase the larger diamonds and color stone business.
Interings is buying their diamonds and jewelry from open markets in US, India, Hong Kong, China and Bangkok. Interings also produces a substantial part of the jewelry it sells in US by using sub contractors
Different flyers are used for marketing and selling purpose at valentine day, mother’s day and Christmas.
Interings is currently exhibiting in 18 different jewelry shows and is part of all major jewelry organizations. International Jewelers Organization, Retail Jewelers Organization, Southern Jewelers Organization, Southern Jewelers Travelers Association, Continental Buying Group and Leading Jewelers Organization are few and leading organization of the trade.
Interings is member of all these groups and also member of Jewelers Board of Trade. Interings exhibits in IJO, RJO, SJTA, SJO, CBG shows. Each group has 2 show per year one in spring and one in fall. Beside these shows Leading Jewelers has one show in fall, JCK Las Vegas one, JIS Miami 2, Midas Dallas 1, Columbus 1, NY 2 and Wisconsin 1 show.
